'NIGHTLIFE' exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery

Yield Gallery welcomed clients to the Richard Hambleton 'NIGHTLIFE' exhibition.

Richard Hambleton's 'NIGHTLIFE' collection was brought back to life by Woodbury House of Archer Street Soho as they showcased the incredible works at the world-renowned Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea London, part of the STARTNET art fair which ran from the 21st October to the 25th October 2020.

A series of 53 standing Shadow figures on Japanese kinwashi paper were on display, bound and mounted on 100% rag museum board that folded up into their own custom made, hand signed and numbered presentation boxes. Richard named this series on paper 'NIGHTLIFE'.

During the show, Woodbury House presented art enthusiasts and collectors with the chance to witness and appreciate 22 of the original 53 figures. This was the first time in over 30 years all had been on display together, one Woodbury House spokesman said we were hoping the exhibition would bring out from the shadows the remaining 31 missing Shadow Figures, we are still looking!

Many Yield Gallery clients thoroughly enjoyed the display and we look forward to inviting our clients to further exhibitions in 2021.
